Different opening hours apply during the school holidays. We always communicate these in good time via the website, on Sharenet and on the notice board at the entrance to the Mediacentrum.

The Mediacentrum

The Mediacentrum is the central library facility of Windesheim University of Applied Sciences. The physical library is located in the main building of Windesheim Zwolle, behind the reception. In addition to a large collection of books, we also offer hospitable (silent) study rooms and meeting places.

A lot of our services and information are available online via our website. Our extensive range of digitally available content is optimally consistent with education.

Windesheim in Almere

If you are a student or staff member of Windesheim in Almere, you can use the services of the Nieuwe Bibliotheek(opens in new tab) in Almere, a stone’s throw away from the institute, for access to physical sources of information and other study facilities. You will be given a library card with which you can borrow all relevant materials.

For access to digital scientific and educational databases, you can use the collection of the Mediacentrum in Zwolle. After logging on, all digital information is available via our website 24/7.
