Audiovisual equipment loans
If you need audiovisual equipment, you can borrow this from the Mediacentrum or the Service Desk of your division. You can contact the Mediacentrum for:
- Video cameras
- Photo cameras
- Tripods
- Voice (memo) recorders
- Go-Pros
If you want to borrow this equipment, you need to book it first. You can do so via the Serviceplein. You can take out the equipment for two weeks.
PLEASE NOTE: your reservation is only valid once it has been approved by a member of staff at the Mediacentrum. You will receive a confirmation of this via e-mail. Don’t forget to bring your student card when collecting the equipment.
For other equipment, you can contact the Service Desk of your division. This includes, for example:
- beamers
- laptops
- tv sets
- sound mixers (speakers to enhance your laptop sound)
- projection screens
- video cameras
Some audiovisual equipment is intended only for staff, not for students. For more information, go to your division’s info site.

How can I borrow equipment?
You can book it yourself via this link. Your booking is only final after it has been approved by a Mediacentrum staff member.

How do I know whether my booking has been approved?
You will receive a confirmation email as soon as we have approved your booking. You can then pick up the audiovisual equipment booked from the Mediacentrum desk. Don’t forget to bring your staff or student card.

Do I need a card to make a booking?
Yes, you can only borrow audiovisual equipment upon presentation of your staff or student card.

How long can I borrow equipment?
The term of a loan is no more than 2 weeks.

Can I extend the loan?
No, you cannot extend the loan of audiovisual equipment.

What happens if I return equipment too late?
Audio-visual equipment is in great demand. The equipment must be available on time for the next borrower. For this reason, we will impose a fine of €5 per day when you return equipment too late. The fine applies from 30 minutes after the deadline for return.

Why do I need to sign for receipt?
The AV materials are very valuable. You sign for receipt to indicate that you have received the materials in good condition.
